Your work environment is more than just a chair and a monitor. The quality of the air you breathe has a huge impact on your productivity.
Stale air can cause:
Headaches
Reduced concentration
Fatigue
Irritation of the respiratory tract
What affects air quality:
Circulation: Fresh air means more oxygen for your brain.
Humidity: Air that’s too dry (below 40%) irritates mucous membranes; air that’s too humid (above 60%) can cause tiredness.
Practical steps:
Ventilate every hour for a few minutes (especially in the morning).
If you can’t open a window, get an air purifier or a fan with a filter.
Monitor humidity with a hygrometer – the ideal range is 40–60%.
If the air is too dry, use a humidifier or place a bowl of water near the heater.
Bonus tip: Keep some indoor plants – they improve both air quality and your mood.
